Williamson County Justice of the Peace offices in Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, and Taylor. Williamson County is collecting new or gently used shoes for a public suicide-prevention awareness display.
Friday, September 11 — Patriot Day / 9/11 Stair Climb
📍 GISD Stadium, Georgetown
Gates open 7:30 AM, climb starts 8:00 AM. Hosted by Georgetown & Williamson County First Responders. VFW Post 8587 will be there in support — community welcome.

Post hours move to NFL Season Hours, 12:00–8:00 PM on Sundays, through the end of the football season. The Post carries the NFL Sunday Ticket package.
Now through 9/18 — Donation Drive for District 28 Homeless Veterans Standdown

VFW Post 8587 is collecting clothing (sweats, hoodies, socks, boots) and hygiene supplies for men and women for the District 28 Homeless Veterans Standdown, held Saturday, Sept 19 at the Pilot Knob Post. Drop off donations at the Post.

Final day of the county-wide Wilco Saves 2026 blood drive campaign, presented by We Are Blood, with four locations hosting drives at once.
